Lagos commemorates its Municipality Day in honour of its patron saint, São Gonçalo de Lagos. In addition to institutional and formal initiatives, which comprise flag-raising ceremonies and formal sessions, other cultural and recreational activities are also proposed. Times: 9 am.
Expect crowds, colour and a programme that runs late. Great for groups, easy to dip in and out of, and very much the real Algarve.
