The Festa do Banho 29 celebrates one of the most iconic and cherished traditions in the municipality of Lagos. For generations, people from the inland areas would travel down to the coast in groups, with their provisions, donkeys and carts, to take part in the ritual and celebrate by the sea. Today, the tradition lives on, bringing together residents and visitors for an evening of socialising, music and festivities,
Expect crowds, colour and a programme that runs late. Great for groups, easy to dip in and out of, and very much the real Algarve.
