Individual, strong & competent. That is how Dagmar Schaumaier-Niedermeier describes her work, and it is where Seniorservice Algarve starts.
Seniorservice Algarve is meant for a self-determined life at home. Dagmar brings professional knowledge from social care and health care, and she takes the time a person needs. In her words: you should feel in good hands with me.
She is a state-recognised special-needs care professional (Bachelor Professional Sozialwesen, bfz Passau, 2023) and a certified specialist in health and social care (IHK Niederbayern, 2019). Her Heilpraktiker training was completed in 2020. Either Dagmar herself comes, or a professional from her team, in every case demonstrably qualified.
At home, a visit lasts four hours and costs 160 euros: company, walks, appointments, shared activities and preparing meals. Medical nursing, such as medication, injections or wound care, is not part of it.
On Saturdays Dagmar meets a small group in a lovely place in the Algarve, with a shared lunch cooked Ayurvedic and organic. There are eight places, so there is time for everyone. It costs 180 euros per person, pick-up service and lunch included. The pick-up service takes you there and brings you home again. Place and time are given with each date.
For families who live far away, Dagmar reports back as agreed. The start is an introductory call: no obligation, no rush.
