FOLKFARO 2026 – international folklore festival, free open-air performances and parades takes over Faro — one of those Algarve gatherings where a whole town turns out for music, food and a proper celebration, centred on Faro city centre / Jardim Manuel Bivar.
Expect crowds, colour and a programme that runs late. Great for groups, easy to dip in and out of, and very much the real Algarve.
