São João da Degola festivities, ending with the Holy Bath and a Luciana Abreu concert takes over Manta Rota — one of those Algarve gatherings where a whole town turns out for music, food and a proper celebration, centred on Manta Rota.
Expect crowds, colour and a programme that runs late. Great for groups, easy to dip in and out of, and very much the real Algarve.
